SHIRLEY, MA — An 8-year old pit bull is being credited saving her owner’s life when the woman collapsed on train tracks during a late-night walk.
Veterinarians say ‘Lily’ used her teeth to drag Christine Spain off the tracks as the train approached.
The train’s engineer says he tried to stop the train in time, and while he missed 54-year old Spain, Lily lost her right front leg.
So, tell me again how all pit bulls are ruthless animals.
